Triple Meter Metronome

This metronome produces a high click on the downbeat, followed by low clicks on beats two and three. It is useful for practicing music in 3/4, 3/8, 3/2, or 9/8 when it is a compound meter and the dotted quarter note equals one beat.

If you are having difficulty hearing the beat clearly with this metronome, try using the talking metronome in three. It provides a steady beat and allows you to hear the downbeat of every measure clearly.
